Annual Barbeque with the Chongsters and their plus ones at the Yishun Dam. I can still vividly remember the taste of charcoal flavoured grilled chicken, good ol’ salt & pepper seasoned beef, and mushrooms with cheese toppings on my tastebuds as I write this. Unlike last year, the weather was perfect (with a great view of lightning bolts that didn’t come to bother us, Thank God). We arrived at 6 pm to avoid the crowd but there wasn’t really much of a crowd this year.
Cubed shaped charcoal, and it works magic
Zender workin it. We forgotten to bring a lighter, again.
Skewers made up with capsicum and some pork
Sis and I volunteering as tribute to test if the meat is cooked
Everyone was trying push the capsicums to me Like Why?!
All meat for 4 hours does no good but they don’t seem to understand that!
Brother with the boyfriend
ST was just complaining on how the smoke seem to follow him wherever he goes.
Diana doing her photo thang.
Great view, great people, great vibes
Always gotta love the magic hour 🙂
Night falls, fire starts to steal the show

Zender starts preparing the main course for tonight – Beef Patty
$15 per piece so we don’t really have a choice but to say nice. Just kidding it was good.
ST scavenging on the slice of beef
Bel and Zen attempts to slice the 3cm thick beef in half with thongs
Nick takes over the grill so that he won’t play C&C anymore
Here you can see what we really are
Happy New Year!
2016 has been a transformative journey for me and I appreciate everything that God has put in place for me. Here’s a note to self for the upcoming year; to go with and not fight the flow of opportunities and challenges, to hold the reins fearlessly, to be aware & in control of my actions, to forge unbreakable relationships, and to learn and inspire with an opened heart. Happy New Year everyone!
